Module: PEAKFLOW-DOS-MIB

OID (symbolic): PEAKFLOW-DOS-MIB::internalErrorReason

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9694.1.1.1.7

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Description: Describes the location of the internal error

What is internalErrorReason?

This string, marked obsolete in the source MIB, describes the reason for an internal Peakflow system error, used in the same now-deprecated internal-error trap as internalErrorLocation despite the DESCRIPTION text being a duplicate of that object's. Historically admins or vendor support used it to see the specific cause text for a reported internal fault. A trap carrying a descriptive error reason string would have let support staff diagnose the root cause without needing direct console access, before this object was deprecated.
