paraInSigName

Module: PARALLEL-MIB

OID (symbolic): PARALLEL-MIB::paraInSigName

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.2.1.10.34.3.1.2

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-only

Description: Identification of a hardware signal.

What is paraInSigName?

This identifies which specific hardware input signal, power, online, busy, paperout, or fault, a given row in the paraInSigTable represents. An admin reads this alongside paraInSigState to know exactly which status line, such as a paper-out sensor or busy line, the corresponding entry is reporting on for that port. For example, a row with paraInSigName set to paperout(4) and a paraInSigState of on(2) would indicate that port has run out of paper.
