Description: Sequence number of the alarm; starts at 1 and increments by 1; must be unique for all alarms received from otmSource.
What is otmSeqNumber?
This value is a sequence number for the alarm, starting at 1 and incrementing by 1, guaranteed unique across all alarms received from a given otmSource. Admins use it to detect gaps that indicate missed traps and to correlate alarm records in the order the source generated them. For example, a management station sees otmSeqNumber jump from 104 to 108 and knows three alarms from that source were lost in transit.
