Type: Counter32

Access: read-only

Description: This attribute counts the number of times that the staging protocol has attempted to stage with the remote module. This counter wraps around to zero when the maximum value is exceeded. The main reason that causes this counter to increment is that the local hardware is up but, the local protocol cannot stage with the remote protocol due to a faulty connection. If the value is zero, then the local hardware has never enabled successfully.

What is mscTrkStagingAttempts?

A count of how many times the staging protocol has attempted to establish this Trunk with the remote module; it wraps to zero at its maximum. A value of zero means the local hardware has never successfully enabled, while a high and climbing count with the link still down usually points to a faulty physical connection preventing staging.
