Description: This attribute specifies the maximum number of packets allowed in the Leq before being discarded. If this attribute is set to zero then the maximum number of packets is calculated from the transmit data rate. This calculated value is placed in queuePktThreshold.

What is mscPppLeqMaxPackets?

Sets the maximum number of packets the egress queue (Leq) will hold before discarding further packets; a value of zero instead has this maximum calculated automatically from the link's transmit data rate, with the resulting value reported in mscPppLeqQueuePktThreshold. Administrators tune this to control how much data can back up on a congested link before packets start being dropped.
