Description: This attribute indicates an upper bound on the cost metric of a route, which is the sum of the cost metrics of all trunks on the route. The cost metric is the trunkCost attribute of the Trunk component. This attribute is used to accept or reject a path after the route selection algorithm has been applied, regardless of the minimization criteria. It is possible that there may not be a route with an acceptable cost.

What is mscHtdsPlcMaximumAcceptableCost?

An upper bound (default 1280) on the sum of trunk cost metrics allowed for this path's route, applied as an accept/reject check after route selection regardless of which attribute was being minimized. If no route with an acceptable total cost exists, the path simply won't be established.
