Description: This attribute is set automatically. It identifies the Trace Session component which is forwarding the trace data. This attribute is empty unless a trace is active.

What is mscFrUniTraceSession?

This read-only RowPointer is set automatically by the device to identify the active Trace Session component currently forwarding this trace's captured data, and stays empty when no trace is running. Admins use it to confirm whether a trace is actually active and, if so, to locate the underlying session object responsible for delivering the captured frames. A non-empty mscFrUniTraceSession value tells the admin a trace is currently running and points to the specific session object handling the capture.
