Description: This attribute indicates the state of the B-Channel. If the value is idle it means that no VCs are connected and this B-Channel is available. If the value is busy it means this B-Channel has been allocated and is not available. If the value is disabled it means the application interface or the port is locked or disabled.

What is mscFrUniIsdnBChannelState?

This object reports the current operational state of the ISDN B-Channel: idle(0) meaning it's free with no VCs connected, busy(1) meaning it's allocated and unavailable, or disabled(2) meaning the port or interface is locked. An admin monitors this state to see whether a B-Channel is available for a new switched virtual circuit or is currently in use or administratively blocked. For example, seeing this object report busy(1) explains why a new SVC call attempt on that channel is being rejected.
