Description: This attribute records the number of times that the bus tap was unable to receive a frame from the bus because the delay between two successive cells in that frame exceeded the maximum allowable duration. Each occurrence results in the loss of the frame. This type of event may occur during normal operation of the module, for example when the module changes bus mode; it may also be caused by a hardware fault. The attribute's value wraps around to zero when it exceeds the maximum permitted value.

What is mscShelfCardBusTapFrmTimeoutErrors?

A wrapping counter of frames lost because too much time elapsed between successive cells of the same frame, which can happen normally when the module changes bus mode but otherwise signals a possible hardware fault.
