Description: This attribute indicates whether the Aps component is experiencing an APS protocol failure alarm. Protocol failure alarms include the protection switching byte mismatch alarm (code 7011 5270) and the channel mismatch failure alarm (code 7011 5271).

What is mscApsProtocolFailureAlarm?

This read-only value (on/off) reports whether the Aps component has an active APS protocol failure alarm, covering the protection switching byte mismatch and channel mismatch failure alarms. An 'on' value means the two ends of the APS pair aren't correctly agreeing on protocol state, which can prevent proper protection switching.
