What is sigChanCommentText?
A free-text field (up to 40 characters) left to the system administrator's discretion, typically used to record the name of the customer using this particular signaling channel. Admins fill this in so the sigChan's purpose is self-documenting when reviewed later, rather than having to cross-reference customer records separately.
