Description: This attribute specifies the allowed customer defined parameter of the trunks on the route. Its value, a number from zero to seven, is chosen by network administration to have a meaning specific to their network, thus allowing them to customize the use of their trunks. A complementary trunk attribute, customerParameter, also has a value from zero to seven. The route selection process does not consider trunks whose customerParameter is greater than the requiredCustomerParameter of the path.

What is vncsVpRequiredCustomerParm?

This sets an allowed customer-defined parameter value (0-7, default 4) whose meaning is chosen by the network administrator to customize trunk usage; route selection excludes trunks whose own customerParameter value is numerically greater than this. Admins use this custom 0-7 scale to segment which trunks specific voice profiles are allowed to use, based on locally defined rules.
