dpnGateUtpFramerOperationalState

Module: Nortel-Magellan-Passport-UtpDpnTrunksMIB

OID (symbolic): Nortel-Magellan-Passport-UtpDpnTrunksMIB::dpnGateUtpFramerOperationalState

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.562.2.4.1.61.2.2.12.1.2

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-only

Description: This attribute indicates the OSI Operational State of the component.

The value enabled indicates that the component is available for operation. Note that if adminState is locked, it would still not be providing service.

The value disabled indicates that the component is not available for operation. For example, something is wrong with the component itself, or with another component on which this one depends. If the value is disabled, the usageState must be idle.

What is dpnGateUtpFramerOperationalState?

This read-only OSI Operational State for the Framer sub-component reports enabled or disabled (default), indicating whether the underlying HDLC framing hardware itself is actually functioning, independent of the parent UTP component's admin lock state. Admins use it to isolate a hardware/dependency fault at the framing layer from a purely administrative lock.
