lecLeArpIsRemoteAddress

Module: Nortel-Magellan-Passport-LaneClientMIB

OID (symbolic): Nortel-Magellan-Passport-LaneClientMIB::lecLeArpIsRemoteAddress

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.562.2.4.1.124.2.10.1.2

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-only

Description: This attribute indicates whether this entry is for a local or remote MAC address. In this context, 'local' means a MAC address that is local to a LEC, and 'remote' means a MAC address for which the LEC is proxy. If yes, the address is believed to be remote, or its local/remote status is unknown. If no, the address is believed to be local; that is, registered with the LES by the LEC whose ATM address is atmAddress.

What is lecLeArpIsRemoteAddress?

This read-only INTEGER would indicate whether an LE_ARP entry's MAC address is local (registered by this LEC) or remote/proxied (yes(1)/no(2)), but its parent table is explicitly marked "THIS TABLE CURRENTLY NOT IMPLEMENTED" in this MIB. An admin should not expect this object to return data on current Passport software.
