Description: This attribute indicates the result of negotiating DTMF regeneration with the remote end across the subnet. The parameter used for negotiating with the remote end is provisioned in Vncs Vp dtmfRegeneration.

If negotiatedDtmfRegeneration is on, DTMF tones received from the link are first converted to digits before being sent to the subnet. When a digit is received from the subnet, its respective DTMF tone is generated before being sent to the link.

If negotiatedDtmfRegeneration is off, DTMF tones are transported transparently.

What is dclVsFramerNegotiatedDtmfRegeneration?

Indicates whether DTMF regeneration was actually negotiated on(1) or off(0) with the remote end for this channel, based on the profile's dtmfRegeneration setting; when on, received DTMF tones are converted to digits and regenerated at the far end rather than transported as raw audio. Admins check this if DTMF tones are being misread at the far end, to confirm the negotiated mode matches what was intended.
