colSpSpooling

Module: Nortel-Magellan-Passport-DataCollectionMIB

OID (symbolic): Nortel-Magellan-Passport-DataCollectionMIB::colSpSpooling

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.562.2.4.1.21.2.10.1.1

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: This attribute specifies whether or not this type of data is spooled to the disk. If set to off, it is roughly equivalent to Locking the Spooler (except this will survive processor restarts).

The following defaults are used: - alarm: on - accounting: on - log: on - debug: off - scn: on - trap: off (see Note below) - stats: on

Note that SNMP Traps cannot be spooled. A semantic check prevents the user from setting the value to on for the trap stream.

What is colSpSpooling?

Turns disk spooling on or off for this data stream's Spooler; setting it off behaves like locking the Spooler but, unlike a lock, survives a processor restart. Defaults are on for most streams but off for debug and trap, since SNMP traps cannot be spooled at all.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.562.2.4.1.21.2.10.1.1
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> Nortel-Magellan-Passport-DataCollectionMIB::colSpSpooling

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.562.2.4.1.21.2.10.1.1.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> Nortel-Magellan-Passport-DataCollectionMIB::colSpSpooling.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.562.2.4.1.21.2.10.1.1.1 i <value>
