Module: Nortel-Magellan-Passport-BitTransparentMIB

OID (symbolic): Nortel-Magellan-Passport-BitTransparentMIB::btdsLCoPathFailureCount

Description: This attribute is the count of the number of times the path has successfully connected. It is set to zero the first time the path is up. If a path fails anytime after connecting this count will be incremented when the path is up again. Failed route requests do not count in this statistic. See retryCount above. This attribute stops counting at its maximum value.

What is btdsLCoPathFailureCount?

Counts how many times this connection's path has successfully come back up after connecting at least once (starting from zero the first time it comes up); a rapidly climbing count indicates a flapping connection worth investigating.

Examples

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> Nortel-Magellan-Passport-BitTransparentMIB::btdsLCoPathFailureCount

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.562.2.4.1.81.4.10.1.19.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> Nortel-Magellan-Passport-BitTransparentMIB::btdsLCoPathFailureCount.1

SNMPv3 example:

snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> btdsLCoPathFailureCount.1
