Module: NWA1100
OID (symbolic): NWA1100::pwCurrentChannel
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.890.1.9.1.16
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: INTEGER
Access: read-only
Description: Current operating Channel.
What is pwCurrentChannel?
This value reports the 802.11 RF channel (1 through 14) that the access point's radio is currently operating on. Admins check it to spot channel overlap with neighboring access points that could cause co-channel interference and degrade throughput. A reading of channel 6 matching a nearby AP's channel 6 signals a candidate for reassignment to reduce mutual interference.
