qosGlobalSetMode

Module: NSCRTV-EPON-QOS-MGM-MIB

OID (symbolic): NSCRTV-EPON-QOS-MGM-MIB::qosGlobalSetMode

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.17409.2.3.8.1.1.3

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: Define how to set QoS parameter deviceBased(1) - When set, only the table started with deviceBase is applicable portBased(2) - When set, only the table started with portBase is applicable

What is qosGlobalSetMode?

A read-write setting choosing whether QoS parameters are applied device-wide, deviceBased(1), or configured individually per port, portBased(2), defaulting to deviceBased. This determines which set of QoS configuration tables, the deviceBaseQos objects or the portBaseQos objects, the switch actually uses, so an admin must set this consistently with which table they intend to configure, since the other table is ignored. An admin who wants different QoS mapping and scheduling per individual port would set this to portBased(2) and then configure the portBaseQosMapOctet and portBaseQosPolicy objects instead of the device-wide ones.
