What is deviceBaseQosMapOctet?
A read-write octet string, 8 or 64 bytes, mapping each CoS, ToS, or DiffServ classification value to one of the device's output queues, one byte per classification value indicating the destination queue number. This is the core device-wide QoS classification table: each byte's position represents a specific CoS/ToS/DiffServ value and its value is the queue number that traffic carrying that marking gets placed into, letting an admin control how differently-marked traffic is prioritized across the device's queues. The MIB's own example shows a CoS mapping read as hex 00 00 01 02 03 03 04 04, meaning CoS values 0 and 1 both map to queue 0, CoS 2 maps to queue 1, CoS 3 maps to queue 2, CoS 4 and 5 map to queue 3, and CoS 6 and 7 map to queue 4.
