The number of epon mpcp (multi-point control protocol, ieee 802.3ah) frames -- the ranging, discovery, and bandwidth-grant messages exchanged between olt and onu counted on the receive side of this EPON device/card/port for the completed or in-progress 1-day (24-hour) performance-monitoring bin. The source DESCRIPTION for this object is mojibake (Chinese text corrupted at the byte level -- e.g. the word for "octets" consistently decodes to the wrong character across the file -- and does not recover cleanly under gbk/gb18030), so this reading is inferred from the object name, its Counter64 syntax, and the standard Ethernet/RMON statistics naming convention this table follows.
