Description: The peak bandwidth when rsAggregationClassBurstRate and rsAggregationClassBurstDuration are not set.
When mean rate and burst duration are set, the mean rate specifies the long-term rate which the packet stream will be shaped to, but the packet stream can burst above that rate for as long as the burst duration specifies with no penalty.
The value noSuchName should be returned if an attempt is made to set the value to a rate is higher than the rate available to this aggregation class.
What is rsAggregationClassMeanRate?
This read-create field sets the long-term shaped rate, in kilobits per second (10 to 1,000,000), for this aggregation class; traffic may burst above this rate temporarily if a burst duration is configured, with no penalty during the burst window. An admin tunes this to cap the sustained bandwidth a group of traffic (like a customer's queue) can consume.
