What is osProcUtil1?
osProcUtil1 is a gauge reporting the overall system (processor) utilization measured over the preceding one-minute interval. Because it is a rolling one-minute figure rather than an instantaneous or long-term average, admins can use it to catch sustained CPU pressure without being fooled by momentary spikes. For example, a monitoring system might alert if osProcUtil1 stays above 90 for several consecutive polls, indicating the Windows NT host is CPU-bound.
