Description: Secure syslog message traffic using VPN encryption

What is nsSetLogVPNEnable?

This value reports whether syslog message traffic to the logging server is secured using VPN encryption. An admin checks this to confirm syslog traffic, which can contain sensitive security event details, is being protected in transit rather than sent in plaintext across the network. A value of enabled(1) confirms syslog messages are encrypted via VPN before reaching the syslog server.
