What is nsSetLogPort?

This value reports the UDP/TCP port number the firewall uses when sending syslog messages to the configured syslog server. An admin checks this to confirm the firewall is targeting the port the syslog server is actually listening on, rather than the standard syslog port 514 by assumption. A mismatch between nsSetLogPort and the syslog server's actual listening port would explain why no log messages are arriving despite the correct hostname being configured.
