dcdcInputCurrent
Module: NETONIX-SWITCH-MIB
OID (symbolic): NETONIX-SWITCH-MIB::dcdcInputCurrent
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.46242.7
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: CurrentTC
Access: read-only
Description: DCDC Input Current in amps
What is dcdcInputCurrent?
This read-only value reports how many amps of current are flowing into the switch's DC-DC power converter, expressed with one decimal place via the CurrentTC convention. Monitoring it helps admins catch abnormal power draw or a failing supply before it causes a brownout, since a sudden spike often signals a hardware fault or an overloaded PoE load. For example, a value that normally reads around 21.3 amps jumping to 45.0 amps would prompt an admin to investigate a short or an overloaded converter.
