Module: NBS-VLAN-FWD-MIB

OID (symbolic): NBS-VLAN-FWD-MIB::nbsVlanFwdPriority

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.629.215.1.2.1.4

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: Specifies the priority to be used when adding a new outer VLAN tag to frames.

What is nbsVlanFwdPriority?

Specifies the 802.1p priority value, 0 through 7, placed in the new outer VLAN tag added to frames on this port, per the object's description. Admins use it to control the QoS priority marking of tagged traffic when the port is set to add an outer tag, ensuring that traffic gets appropriate queuing treatment downstream. Setting nbsVlanFwdPriority to 5 would mark newly-tagged frames with priority 5, typically reserved for latency-sensitive traffic like voice.
