nbsSyslogServerPort

Module: NBS-SYSLOG-SERVER-MIB

OID (symbolic): NBS-SYSLOG-SERVER-MIB::nbsSyslogServerPort

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.629.206.1.2.1.5

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Unsigned32

Access: read-write

Description: UDP port of the remote syslog server. The default port is 514.

What is nbsSyslogServerPort?

This object holds the UDP port number used to send syslog messages to the configured remote server, defaulting to the standard port 514. Admins change it if their syslog collector listens on a non-standard port. For example, setting nbsSyslogServerPort to 5140 redirects this device's syslog traffic to a collector listening on that alternate UDP port.
