What is nbsCmmcTrapPortLoopbackOff?
This notification is sent by the network device when a port exits a loopback testing state and returns to normal operation. Loopback mode is used for network diagnostics and testing, so this alert indicates the port has completed its loopback test cycle. Network operators monitor this notification to track when ports finish diagnostic testing and become available for production traffic again.
Examples
Send this trap to an SNMP manager — replace <manager> with the IP or hostname of your monitoring server (SNMPv2c):
snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' NBS-CMMC-MIB::nbsCmmcTrapPortLoopbackOff snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' 1.3.6.1.4.1.629.200.13.0.22
Listen for incoming traps on the manager host (-f keeps it in the foreground, -Lo prints to stdout — useful for testing):
snmptrapd -f -Lo -c /dev/null authCommunity log public
