What is nbsCmmcTrapCpeFound?

This notification is sent when a remote Customer Premise Equipment (CPE) module is discovered and detected by the chassis management system. It signals that a new module has been recognized and is available for configuration or monitoring. An operator would monitor this trap to track module additions and ensure proper device discovery in a multi-module chassis.

Examples

Send this trap to an SNMP manager — replace <manager> with the IP or hostname of your monitoring server (SNMPv2c):

snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' NBS-CMMC-MIB::nbsCmmcTrapCpeFound
snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' 1.3.6.1.4.1.629.200.13.0.44

Listen for incoming traps on the manager host (-f keeps it in the foreground, -Lo prints to stdout — useful for testing):

snmptrapd -f -Lo -c /dev/null authCommunity log public
