What is nbsCmmcTrapCoYieldsControl?

This notification is sent when a central office (CO) module ceases active management of a dual-homed CPE (Customer Premises Equipment) module, effectively yielding control to the other CO module. It signals a failover or control transfer event in the management hierarchy. An operator would receive this trap to become aware of changes in which CO module actively manages a particular CPE in redundant configurations.

Examples

Send this trap to an SNMP manager — replace <manager> with the IP or hostname of your monitoring server (SNMPv2c):

snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' NBS-CMMC-MIB::nbsCmmcTrapCoYieldsControl
snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' 1.3.6.1.4.1.629.200.13.0.42

Listen for incoming traps on the manager host (-f keeps it in the foreground, -Lo prints to stdout — useful for testing):

snmptrapd -f -Lo -c /dev/null authCommunity log public
