What is nbsCmmcPortThresholdAction?

This object specifies what action to take if a monitored transceiver port exceeds a configured threshold for temperature, power, or other optical parameters. Supported actions include sending an SNMP trap notification, disabling the port, or both, depending on the card type. Network operators configure this to automatically react to equipment degradation or failure conditions.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.629.200.8.1.1.24
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> NBS-CMMC-MIB::nbsCmmcPortThresholdAction

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.629.200.8.1.1.24.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> NBS-CMMC-MIB::nbsCmmcPortThresholdAction.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.629.200.8.1.1.24.1 i <value>

SNMPv3 example:

snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> nbsCmmcPortThresholdAction.1
