For ports on Customer Premise RM cards [managed by a remote peer], this value is the nbsCmmcPortChassisIndex of the host [Central Office] port.
What is nbsCmmcPortRMChassis?
This object indicates which remote chassis is connected to a given port on a Remote Module (RM) card, with 0 meaning no remote peer and special values used for central office versus customer premise equipment topology. Telecom network operators use this to map physical port interconnections across distributed Remote Module cards.
