cfFirmware
Module: NAT
OID (symbolic): NAT::cfFirmware
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.86.2.1.1
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: OCTET STRING
Access: read-only
What is cfFirmware?
NAT.mib (a 1991 vendor MIB) has no DESCRIPTION clauses anywhere, so this reading of cfFirmware is inferred from its name, OCTET STRING syntax, and its position as object 1 in the 'configuration' group. It almost certainly reports the device's firmware version or build string, something like "v2.01". Because it is read-only, an admin would poll it to confirm which firmware build a NAT bridge/router is running before applying a config change.
Examples
Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):
