cfCmstrAliasEntry
Module: NAT
OID (symbolic): NAT::cfCmstrAliasEntry
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.86.2.1.3.1
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Access: read-write
What is cfCmstrAliasEntry?
The source file has no DESCRIPTION text anywhere, so this is inferred from the name, type, and read-write access of the entry. It is the conceptual row of an 'alias' community-string table, a read-write counterpart to cfCmstrEntry, letting an operator define an alternate set of the four community strings. In practice an admin would SET these alias strings to rotate credentials without disturbing the primary cfCmstrTable strings.
