Description: The operational mode of the modem. If the value is syncAfterDial(3), the modem will accept commands in asynchronous mode and change to synchronous mode to pass data after a dial sequence has been executed.

What is mdmDTESyncAsyncMode?

Selects the modem's operating mode, defaulting to async, with sync and syncAfterDial options; syncAfterDial lets an admin have the modem accept commands asynchronously but switch to synchronous mode automatically once a call is dialed.
