myTrustedArpDelete

Module: MY-ANTI-ARPCHEAT-MIB

OID (symbolic): MY-ANTI-ARPCHEAT-MIB::myTrustedArpDelete

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.171.10.97.2.41.1.1

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Integer32

Access: read-write

Description: Setting the variable value to zero refers to delete all the trusted ARP and L2 interface bindings. Setting any variable values other than zero refers to no action taken.

What is myTrustedArpDelete?

This Integer32 scalar acts as a control switch: writing zero to it deletes all trusted ARP and Layer 2 interface bindings configured on the device, while writing any nonzero value takes no action. Admins use this as a bulk-clear mechanism to wipe out the entire trusted-ARP anti-spoofing table in one operation, rather than deleting entries one at a time from myTrustedArpTable. For example, an admin rebuilding the trusted-ARP configuration from scratch would set this to 0 first to clear all existing bindings before reprovisioning them.

Examples

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> MY-ANTI-ARPCHEAT-MIB::myTrustedArpDelete

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.171.10.97.2.41.1.1.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> MY-ANTI-ARPCHEAT-MIB::myTrustedArpDelete.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.171.10.97.2.41.1.1.1 i <value>

SNMPv3 example:

snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> myTrustedArpDelete.1
