Description: MPS-p2 Keep-Alive Lifetime The length of time an MPC may consider a Keep-Alive valid in seconds. This value must be at least three times the mpsKeepAliveTime (MPS-p1).
What is mpsKeepAliveLifeTime?
This OID sets the duration (in seconds) for which an MPOA client considers keep-alive heartbeat messages valid from the server, requiring it to be at least 3 times the actual keep-alive interval. Configuring this controls how long the client waits for a heartbeat before assuming the server is unreachable and failing over. A network engineer would tune this value to balance responsiveness to failures against tolerance for temporary network delays.
