Description: The IP configuration mode of the NPort. You can choose from four possible IP configuration modes: Static, DHCP, DHCP/BOOTP, BOOTP, and PPPoE.
What is ipConfiguration?
Selects how the NPort obtains its IP address: static(0) for a manually assigned address, dhcp(1)/dhcp-BOOTP(2)/bootp(3) for automatic assignment from a server, or pppoe(4) for a dial-up-style broadband link. An admin typically sets this once at deployment depending on whether the site has a DHCP server or the unit connects through a DSL/cable modem.
