deviceControlIgnoreJammedIp

Module: MOXA-NP6000-MIB

OID (symbolic): MOXA-NP6000-MIB::deviceControlIgnoreJammedIp

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.8691.2.8.1.4.1.2.1.1.1.3

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: Previously, when Max connection was set to a value greater than 1, and the serial device was transmitting data, if any one of the connected hosts stopped responding, the serial device would wait until the data had been transmitted successfully before transmitting the second group of data to all hosts. Currently, if you select Yes for 'Ignore jammed IP,' the host that is not responding will be ignored, but the data will still be transmitted to the other hosts.

What is deviceControlIgnoreJammedIp?

When deviceControlMaxConnection allows multiple hosts, setting this to yes(1) skips a host that has stopped acknowledging data instead of stalling delivery to the other connected hosts; no(0) keeps the original wait-for-everyone behavior. Useful in multi-host Real COM setups where one client going offline shouldn't block the rest.
