Description: The sequence number of the most recently received advertisement. The sequence number ranges from 0 to 0xffff. After the sequence number attains the value 0xffff, it will roll over to 256.
What is mnAdvSequence?
The sequence number of the most recently received advertisement. The sequence number ranges from 0 to 0xffff. After the sequence number attains the value 0xffff, it will roll over to 256. This is a plain integer field read directly off the wire from the Mobile IP registration messages, so its value mirrors exactly what the mobile node or agent sent.
