What is mcmIfDnaStatus?

This object indicates the validity of a DNA table row: active(2) means this is the DNA currently used to register with the NAS, valid(1) means the row is valid but not the one used for registration, and invalid(3) marks a row that may be removed by the implementation. Admins set it to control which of possibly several DNA entries on an interface is actively used for network registration. Setting mcmIfDnaStatus to active(2) on a given row makes that DNA the one used to register the interface with the NAS.
