gntpLocalOffset
Module: MERIDIAN2-MIB
OID (symbolic): MERIDIAN2-MIB::gntpLocalOffset
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.13827.14.1.20
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: INTEGER
Access: read-only
Description: This value is the local time offset configured for any optional IRIG timecode outputs or the optional front panel vacuum fluorescent display. It is only pertinent when gntpTimeMode is set to LOCAL. It DOES NOT indicate the local time offset of the Linux OS clock or the NTP sub-system. Both of these are ALWAYS UTC.
Its units are half-hours, ranging from -25 to 25, where negative values imply that the local time is behind UTC.
What is gntpLocalOffset?
The local time offset, in half-hour units from -25 to 25, applied only to optional IRIG timecode outputs or the front-panel display when gntpTimeMode is set to LOCAL; negative values mean local time is behind UTC. Like gntpTimeMode, it has no effect on the NTP subsystem itself, which always runs UTC.
