lumCurrentOptinetClockSourcePort

Module: LUMINOUS-SHELF-MIB

OID (symbolic): LUMINOUS-SHELF-MIB::lumCurrentOptinetClockSourcePort

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.4614.1.1.1.14

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-only

Description: The current source of the optinet clock.

primary(3), secondary(4) can be reported only on CO nodes, and indicate which clock source has been currently selected by this CO node.

clockWise(5), counterClockWise(6) can be reported only on CPE nodes and indicate the ring direction to the closest CO node from where the clock source is taken.

none(1) indicates that the clock source has not been chosen.

internal(2) indicates a node using its internal oscillator for a clock source. The internal oscillator is an oven-controlled oscillator (OCXO) on the switch(ring) card.

What is lumCurrentOptinetClockSourcePort?

Reports which clock source this node is currently actually using: none(1) no source chosen, internal(2) the card's own oven-controlled oscillator, primary(3)/secondary(4) (CO nodes only) one of the two configured optinet ports, or clockWise(5)/counterClockWise(6) (CPE nodes only) the ring direction toward the nearest CO node supplying timing.
