lcSessionInactivityTimeout

Module: LANCITY-MCNS-MIB

OID (symbolic): LANCITY-MCNS-MIB::lcSessionInactivityTimeout

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.482.60.7.14.4

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: The session inactivity timeout value in minutes. A value of 0 indicates no session timeout. The maximum timeout is one week. Applies to all sessions (both Command line and Telnet sessions), but each session maintains a separate inactivity timer. This timer starts after a successful login, and is restarted every time a command is entered. If this timer expires, the associated session is terminated. Termination of the console results in a user logout. Termination of a telnet session results in a user logout and a telnet disconnect process.

What is lcSessionInactivityTimeout?

Read-write inactivity timeout, in minutes (0-10080, i.e. up to one week), applied to both console and telnet sessions; 0 disables the timeout. Each session tracks its own timer, restarted on every command, and expiry logs the session out -- disconnecting a telnet session or logging out a console session.
