lcResetNmAccessTable

Module: LANCITY-MCNS-MIB

OID (symbolic): LANCITY-MCNS-MIB::lcResetNmAccessTable

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.482.60.7.11

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: TruthValue

Access: read-write

Description: Setting this object to true(1) causes the device to destroy all docsDevNmAccessTable entries, such that the table is empty. The DOCSIS Cable Device MIB specifies that it the table is empty, access to SNMP objects is unrestricted. Note that the device is not reset; entries are destroyed on the fly. Reading this object always returns false(2). This object can be used to clear out previously set entries in the docsDevNmAccessTable without having to know all the instances of existing entries.

What is lcResetNmAccessTable?

Read-write action object: setting it to true(1) immediately destroys all entries in docsDevNmAccessTable on the fly (without resetting the device), which per DOCSIS leaves SNMP access unrestricted while the table is empty; lets an operator clear out access-control entries without enumerating every existing instance. Reading it always returns false(2).
