What is communicationError?

This value indicates whether communication between the LAN adapter and the attached data logger has failed, with 0 meaning OK and 1 meaning an alarm condition. An admin treats this as a connectivity or hardware fault requiring investigation, since it means the adapter can no longer reliably read data from or send commands to the logger. A value of 1 would explain why other logger-reported values, like memory or battery status, are no longer updating.
