Module: LAN-EMULATION-CLIENT-MIB

OID (symbolic): LAN-EMULATION-CLIENT-MIB::lecMulticastSendType

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.353.5.3.1.1.1.1.20

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-create

Description: C24 Multicast Send VCC Type. Signalling parameter that SHOULD be used by the LE Client when establishing the Multicast Send VCC.

This is the method to be used by the LE Client when specifying traffic parameters when it sets up the Multicast Send VCC for this emulated LAN.

What is lecMulticastSendType?

This read-create OID selects the signalling traffic type (best effort, variable bit rate, or constant bit rate) a LE Client requests when establishing its Multicast Send VCC. An admin tunes this to match the QoS the ATM network should provide for multicast/broadcast traffic on this emulated LAN.
