l2tpAdminState

Module: L2TP-MIB

OID (symbolic): L2TP-MIB::l2tpAdminState

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.2.1.10.95.1.1.1.1

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: This object defines the administrative state of the L2TP protocol. Setting this object to 'disabled' causes all tunnels to be immediately disconnected and no further tunnels to be either initiated or accepted. The value of this object must be maintained in non-volatile memory.

What is l2tpAdminState?

Globally turns the L2TP protocol stack on or off for the whole device: disabling it immediately drops every existing tunnel and stops new ones from being accepted; the setting must survive a reboot since it is stored in non-volatile memory.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.2.1.10.95.1.1.1.1
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> L2TP-MIB::l2tpAdminState

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.2.1.10.95.1.1.1.1.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> L2TP-MIB::l2tpAdminState.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.2.1.10.95.1.1.1.1.1 i <value>
