What is juniSlepKeepAliveTimer?

This read-create value sets, in seconds, how long a SLEP interface waits between sending keep-alive messages to its remote SLEP peer and how long it waits to receive one back. Admins tune this to control how quickly a failed link or dead remote peer is detected; a shorter timer detects failures faster but produces more keep-alive traffic and is more sensitive to transient delay. For example, leaving juniSlepKeepAliveTimer at its default of 10 seconds means the interface exchanges keep-alives roughly every 10 seconds with its remote SLEP entity.
